๐ฎ Job Description
Correction Officers are responsible for maintaining safety, security, and order within the Rockland County correctional facility.
- Supervise incarcerated individuals
- Enforce rules and regulations
- Maintain facility security
- Conduct searches and prevent contraband
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
- May perform physical restraint when necessary
All Correction Officers are sworn Peace Officers and are required to carry firearms.
