Correction Officers are responsible for maintaining safety, security, and order within the Rockland County correctional facility.

  • Supervise incarcerated individuals
  • Enforce rules and regulations
  • Maintain facility security
  • Conduct searches and prevent contraband
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies
  • May perform physical restraint when necessary

All Correction Officers are sworn Peace Officers and are required to carry firearms.
