Duties: Police Officers with the Department Of veteran Affairs are responsible for enforcing Federal laws and protecting Federal property. They Enforce VA directives and regulations. This position is located within Police Service at the Albany VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. The incumbent serves as a Federal police officer working for the Department of Veterans Affairs performing law enforcement and security duties. The mission of the VA police officer is to serve and protect Veterans, patients, employees, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, visitors, and others who frequent VA facilities.

Salary range:   $46,381 to $60,302 per year
